We process only what the service needs to run:

• Your account: name, email address, and sign-in records so you can log in and we can reach you about your account.
• Videos you provide: files you upload or links you submit, plus the projects, edits, captions, and finished clips you create — used to analyze, render, and store your work.
• Payments: plan, subscription status, and usage of analysis minutes. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store full card numbers.
• Connected social accounts (only if you connect one): the platform, the linked account identity, and the access needed to publish videos you choose.
• Messages you send us: support emails and waitlist sign-ups, which we use to answer you and to see what people are interested in.
• Technical data: sign-in session details and basic logs that keep the service secure and reliable.

• Video analysis: your video and editing instructions go to the AI provider we use — Google's models or an alternative — to find moments and prepare edits.
• Transcription: clip audio may be sent to a transcription provider to produce words and burned-in captions.
• Payments: Stripe processes subscriptions, top-ups, and invoices, and hosts the billing portal.
• Email: a delivery provider sends account verification emails.
• Sign-in with Google: Google verifies your identity when you choose that option.
• Storage: videos and related files are stored on our servers and, where the processing workflow uses it, in S3-compatible cloud object storage. Large uploads can go directly to cloud storage. Temporary download links expire.
• Social platforms: TikTok, Google (YouTube), and Meta (Instagram) receive data only when you connect an account and use publishing, as described below.

No ads or analytics trackers run in the service today. If that changes, this policy will be updated first.

When you paste a YouTube link, we fetch that video's public information to prepare it for editing. When you connect a YouTube channel, we read its name and ID to link it and upload only the videos you submit for publishing.

The YouTube connection uses YouTube API Services, which are governed by the YouTube API Services Developer Policies. Google's handling of your information is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

You can remove this app's access to your Google data at any time on Google's security settings page, and you can ask us to delete stored YouTube data by contacting support@viralcutpro.com. You can also disconnect the channel in ViralCut account settings to remove the stored connection. Revoking access in Google does not itself remove videos you have already published.

Connecting TikTok or Instagram is optional. To link the account we read the basic profile the platform shares; publishing sends only the videos you submit. Nothing is posted without your action.

Disconnecting in account settings removes the stored connection on our side. Posts already published remain on the platform until you delete them there.

The service uses a strictly necessary sign-in cookie to keep you logged in and to protect your workspace. It uses no advertising or analytics cookies.

Where EU data-protection law applies, we rely on:

• Contract — to provide the accounts, analysis, renders, billing, and support you ask for.
• Legitimate interests — to keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and operate reliably.
• Optional social features: connecting an account and publishing through it is always your choice. Letting the platform share access is permission to use that platform — on its own it is not a GDPR legal basis. [TBD — confirm the legal basis for these features.]
• Legal obligations — to keep billing records the law requires.

To ask for a copy of your data or for deletion, contact support@viralcutpro.com from your account email. There is no export or delete button yet, so we handle each request by hand.

Under the GDPR you can ask to see your data. You can ask us to correct it, delete it, or limit how we use it. You can ask for a portable copy. You can object to some uses. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it. You can also complain to your data-protection authority.

We reply to requests without undue delay and within one month. If a request is complex or you make several, we may extend by two further months and will tell you why within the first month.

We use access controls to keep users from opening each other's accounts. Connections are encrypted. Social access tokens are stored encrypted, and provider credentials stay on our servers. No measures are perfect — report anything suspicious to support@viralcutpro.com.
